We have the privilege of being with Pastor David Cooper at Bible Baptist Church, Marietta, GA, on Sunday, April 8th. Sunday School at 10 a.m., followed by the morning Worship service at 11 a.m. The evening service starts at 5 p.m.
We are thankful for our dear friend and his congregation, for their prayers for us and their kindness shown to us, especially during this battle with Shirley's cancer. It is always a privilege to me when a pastor will open his pulpit on a Sunday to have us come. With Shirley's chemo treatments being weekly now (her cancer has been growing), we are obligated to be in Greenville, SC, every Monday morning until further notice. Every other week, her treatments require three days.
We thank the Lord for the many doctors, nurses and staff that labor through the Greenville Health System. God has used them to be a blessing in our lives. We thank the Lord for you and for your prayers on her behalf. Her CEA (her cancer's activity number) was 67 in April of 2017; it catapult to over 7,100 by January of 2018. The higher the number, the more active the cancer.
It is a miracle that I have her with me and that she is able to travel, within limitations. Our desire is to be used of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as He best sees fit. Thank you, again, for your prayers.
