Inside Information
This is my “Country Music” CD.  Dear friends came together to help me cut this album, most of whom had played together in a Country Music band before each of them had come to Christ by faith.  I love to listen to the steel guitar on this song.  The song itself, “Inside Information,” came from a thought about knowing something others did not know.  Christians know the presence of the Spirit of Christ, which I did not know until I came to Jesus in repentance and faith.  This is a lively song that I hope will bless the “Country” in your heart.

Perfect Heart
People often ask about the blood of Christ, “Was it different?”  The Book of Hebrews has much to say about the blood Jesus Christ shed on Calvary.  The blood of Jesus had to be unique blood, for it obtained for us something no other blood could obtain: eternal redemption: “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us” (Hebrews 9:12).  “Perfect Heart” is a song about the perfect love of God that gave his perfect blood for our salvation.

Be Thou Clean
The song, “Be Thou Clean” comes from Luke 5.  The leper in that passage besought the Lord, saying, “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.”  I am thankful that the Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).  The Lord’s response to the leper was, “I will. Be thou clean.”
